How has new media affect education today?
Technology has evolved a lot this past decade as well as the way we
learn in school today. Technology advances has changed the way how
students behave in classes. From educational perspective, this can be a
great advantages for students to adapt/learn faster. I will be
researching on the pros and cons of using new media in classes today. I
want to see the effects of using new media in classrooms. I will be
reading news article and using scholarly articles finding out how new
media has affected students today in a classroom learning environment.
Also, I want to find out the correlation of students using technology in
their classroom and see if they actually perform better in class.

From personal experience whenever i bring in a tablet or laptop to class i always end up getting sidetracked and surf the web. The benefits of bringing these electronics to class is that i can search up anything I'm unsure of and record new information but the downfall is that it can also be used for entertainment when you are extremely bored in class.
